Dome Cameras

We have a dedicated repair-and-test cell for each major dome cameras type. Each cell comprises engineers specialising in the particular manufacturers’ camera range, working with extensive camera soak test rigs, fully documented test and refurbishment procedures and a dedicated spare parts stocks. This approach enables us to achieve the very highest standards of repair together with rapid turnaround times. All moving parts are stripped, cleaned and refurbished as part of our standard repair procedure. Any worn or known weak components are replaced as a matter of course. Only original equipment manufacturer supplied parts are used. All cameras are subjected to a minimum 24 hour soak test following repair.

Fixed Position Cameras

We repair all makes of fixed position cameras to component level. Although structurally more simple than dome cameras, fixed position cameras they receive exactly the same standard of repair and test.

Digital Video Recorders

All hard drives over a year old are automatically replaced as a matter of policy. Printed circuit boards are repaired to component level, replacing defective and known weak components. If software is corrupted, it is reloaded and then configured. Multi-channel inputs are comprehensively tested together using our in-house designed test rigs, ensuring units are tested in real-world conditions. Prior to despatch, units are soak-tested for a minimum of 24 hours.

Multiplexers

As with DVRs, printed circuit boards are repaired to component level, replacing worn and known weak components. If software is corrupted it is reloaded and set up. Multi-channel inputs are comprehensively tested together using our in-house designed test rigs. This ensures units are tested in real world fully loaded conditions. Prior to despatch, units are soak-tested for a minimum of 24 hours.

Telemetry Control Equipment

Keyboads and other telemetry equipment are fully refurbished with key tops and membranes replaced as required. Joysticks are replaced wherever there is evidence of wear - ensuring the unit re enters service in “as new” condition.

Timelapse VCRs

All VCRs are comprehensively serviced and refurbished, including the fitting of a 10,000 hour service kit of replacement parts.

Monitors

Although declining in volume, we are still asked by many of our customers to provide repair services on CRT monitors, particularly specialist high resolution units. Monitors are fully repaired, unless the tube itself is faulty - many of these are no longer available as spare parts.

TFT LCD and Plasma technologies are also supported by Maxey Moverley. As the older CRT equipment population declines we are seeing repair activity growing on this equipment.
